Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Signallo collects, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information.
Last updated: March 16, 2026
Who we are
Signallo is a B2B account intelligence company based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We conduct primary phone research on target accounts to uncover vendor satisfaction, pain points, renewal timelines, and switching intent — and we sell that intelligence to B2B sales and marketing teams.
This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our website at signallo.com, including our products Pulse, Segments, and Dedicated.
Questions about this policy can be directed to info@signallo.com.
What we collect
Information you provide directly
We collect information you give us when you interact with our products or website:
- Email address — collected when you download a Pulse report. Used for delivery and, with your consent, for marketing communications.
- Name and contact information — collected when you book a consultation or engage with us for a Dedicated research project.
- Business information — such as company name, role, and target account details, which you may provide during a Dedicated engagement.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Browser type and version, operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, referring URL
- Click and navigation behavior on our site
This information is collected via cookies and similar tracking technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Ads. See the Tracking & Advertising section for details.
Information from third-party services
When you purchase a Segment or engage us for a Dedicated project, we receive transaction information from Stripe (our payment processor) including your name, email, and billing details. We do not receive or store your full card number. See the Payments & Billing section for details.
How we use it
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To deliver purchased products — Pulse reports, Segments lists, and Dedicated research outputs
- To communicate with you about your order, engagement, or inquiry
- To send marketing emails to people who have provided their email address and not opted out (see Marketing Email)
- To process payments and manage billing through Stripe
- To run and optimize Google Ads and LinkedIn campaigns that direct traffic to our site
- To analyze site traffic and usage through Google Analytics in order to improve our website and products
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Research subjects — a note
Signallo's core product involves primary phone research: we call B2B professionals at target accounts to collect account-level intelligence about vendor relationships, satisfaction levels, and renewal timelines.
Importantly, we do not collect, store, or sell individual personal information — no names, titles, email addresses, or direct contact details. Our products contain account-level data only: the company, its current vendor, satisfaction score, pain points, and renewal window. The individuals who speak with us during research calls are not identified in any product we sell.
If your company appears in a Signallo Segment: The intelligence we hold is account-level — it describes your company's vendor relationship, not you personally. If you would like to request removal of your account's data from our active products, email us at info@signallo.com with your company name and we will process your request.
Our research is used by B2B sales and marketing teams to identify accounts that may be open to switching vendors or are approaching a renewal decision. It is not used for consumer profiling, credit decisions, or employment purposes.
This site and our services are operated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
Payments & billing
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Signallo does not directly collect, process, or store your credit card number or full payment card details.
Segments purchases
Segments are purchased via Stripe Payment Links. When you complete a purchase, Stripe handles the transaction and sends us confirmation. Digital delivery is handled by SendOwl, which emails you a secure, expiring download link.
Dedicated engagements
Dedicated clients are invoiced directly via Stripe. For clients on an ongoing or retainer basis, Stripe may store your card details on file to facilitate future billing. This storage is governed by Stripe's privacy policy and security practices. You may contact us at info@signallo.com to request removal of stored payment details.
Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
Marketing email
If you provide your email address to download a Pulse report or otherwise engage with Signallo, you may receive marketing emails from us from time to time. These may include product announcements, new Segments availability, research insights, and other relevant communications.
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time, and we will honor your request promptly. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect transactional emails related to a purchase or active engagement.
We do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Tracking & advertising
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — which pages they visit, how long they stay, and where they come from. This data is aggregated and used solely to improve our website and marketing. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Google Ads
We run advertising campaigns through Google Ads and use tracking pixels and cookies to measure campaign performance and conversion. This may include remarketing — showing ads to people who have previously visited our site — and conversion tracking to understand which ads lead to actions on our site.
Google's advertising practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can manage your ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.
LinkedIn Ads
We may run advertising campaigns through LinkedIn Campaign Manager, including sponsored content and retargeting campaigns aimed at B2B professionals. LinkedIn uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag — a small piece of code on our site — to enable conversion tracking and audience retargeting. We do not receive your personal LinkedIn profile data through this tag; it is used solely for aggregate campaign measurement.
LinkedIn's data practices are governed by LinkedIn's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of LinkedIn retargeting at linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to support analytics and advertising functions described above. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect certain site functionality. We do not use cookies to collect personal information beyond what is described in this policy.
Third parties
We work with the following third-party services in the operation of our business. Each is governed by its own privacy policy:
- Stripe — payment processing and invoicing (stripe.com/privacy)
- SendOwl — digital product delivery for Segments purchases
- Google Analytics — website traffic and usage analytics
- Google Ads — paid advertising and conversion tracking
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager — paid advertising and retargeting
- Pipedrive — CRM and consultation scheduling
- Netlify — website hosting
We do not sell your personal information to any of these parties. We share only the information necessary for each service to perform its function.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- Email addresses and marketing preferences are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Transaction records are retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance purposes — typically a minimum of seven years.
- Research data collected from phone calls is retained as part of our active product catalog and may be updated or removed when a Segment is retired.
To request deletion of your information, contact us at info@signallo.com.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@signallo.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
This website and our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
California residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information.
Your California rights
- Right to know — You may request that we disclose what personal information we collect about you, the categories of sources, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties we share it with.
- Right to delete — You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to opt out of sale — You may direct us not to sell your personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA, so no opt-out action is required — but you have this right regardless.

What we collect and why
For California residents, the categories of personal information we may collect include: identifiers (email address, name, IP address); commercial information (purchase history); and internet or other network activity (browsing behavior on our site). We collect this information to operate our website, deliver products, send marketing communications you have consented to, and run advertising campaigns. We do not sell this information to third parties.
How to submit a request
To exercise your rights under the CCPA, email us at info@signallo.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Do Not Track
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that signals to websites that you prefer not to be tracked across sites. Our website does not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for how sites should interpret them. We disclose our tracking practices in full in the Tracking & Advertising section above, and we provide opt-out options through each respective platform.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which maintains PCI-DSS compliance. Our website is served over HTTPS.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
